In January 2025, The Psoriasis Association were advised that Cocois ointment 100g tubes are currently out of stock with an estimated return to market of April 2025. Cocois ointment 40g tubes remain available.

Patients can contact their GP to change their prescription and request multiple 40g tubes, to make up their normal prescription.

Further to the recent updates regarding the shortages in coal tar scalp ointment, patients should note that an equivalent formulation of the coconut oil-based ointment - Sebco™ - is stocked nationwide and available in both 100g and 40g.
