It's Psoriasis Awareness Week 2023!
This year's theme is ‘Talking Treatments’
Psoriasis Awareness Week 2023 starts today (World Psoriasis Day) and runs until Friday 3rd November.
During this week, held annually at the end of October, we work hard to raise awareness of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
How to treat psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are understandably one of the primary questions asked via our helplines, so this year, our theme is ‘Talking Treatments’.
During the course of the week, we will be looking at how people can achieve the best in psoriasis care. We will be hearing from those who self-manage their condition as well as those under the care of a GP or a dermatologist. We'll be sharing treatment tips and content from our communities as well as providing helpful advice and new resources.
We will be launching our new and updated ‘What is Psoriasis?’ leaflet on World Psoriasis Day which uses a new range of from our 'active lifestyles' photoshoot as well as providing relevant advice and help for those newly diagnosed. Other resources on treatment options and our new set of information posters, will also be released throughout the course of the week.
You can get involved in Psoriasis Awareness Week too! Download our Supporters Pack and share your support on social media using our digital toolkit and the hashtags #TreatmentTalk and #PAW23.

We are also looking forward to holding two further psoriasis awareness information days this year.
Following our successful event in Derby last week, we will be at the psoriasis clinics in the dermatology department at Northampton General Hospital on Monday 30th and Friday 3rd November between 9.30pm and 4pm.
Do come and join us if you are in the area. These events provide a welcome opportunity to chat to members of the general public, hear people's real-life experiences first-hand, and provide our range of information resources to those who may need them.
